Solution :-

Janaki will get the increment of Rs. 170 next month.

Half of which, she would spent on her son's education.

⇒ Half of Rs. 170 = 170/2 = Rs. 85

Total money to be spent on her son's education including Rs. 85 = Rs. 645

Therefore, money already spent on her son's education in the present month

= 645 - 85

= Rs. 560

As, Janaki spends 20 % of her total monthly salary on her son's education.

So, her present monthly salary = (560*100)/20

= 56000/20

= Rs. 2800

Her present salary is Rs. 2800
