Given :

Time taken by Jane to complete 63 km = 3.5 hours

Sali started cycling after 4 minutes of Jane and caught up with her when they cycled 30 km .

To find :

Sali's speed in km/h .

Solution :

Speed of Jane = ( 63 / 3.5 ) km/h = 18 km/h

time taken by Jane to cover 30 km = ( 30 / 18 ) hr = 100 minutes

time taken by Sali to cover 30 km = ( 100 - 4 ) minutes = 96 minutes

speed of Sali = [ ( 30 * 60 ) / 96 ] km/h

                      = 18.75 km/h

Sali's speed is 18.75 km/h
