Principal=Rs.20000

Time=3 yrs

Rate=14% pa, compounded annually

Therefore, amount

=Rs.(20000×(1+14/100)^3)

=Rs.(20000×114/100×114/100×114/100)

=Rs.32500

Therefore, interest =Amount-Principal

=Rs. 32500-20000

=Rs.12500(Ans.)
