The force that the rock exerts on Jane is 100 N.
According to Newton's third law of motion,
" Every action has its equal and opposite and reaction."
So, the amount of force Jane will exert on the rock, the rock will exert the same amount of force on Jane according to Newton's third law of motion.
Mass of Jane = 40 kg
Mass of the rock = 50 kg
Force exerted by Jane = 100 N
∴ Force exerted by the rock will be 100 N.
