In first bottle -:

12 ounces = $1.92

1 ounce = 1.92 ÷ 12

= $0.16

In second bottle -:

16 ounces = $2.40

1 ounce = 2.40 ÷ 16

= $0.15

So, The second bottle costs less per ounce as compared to the first bottle.
