Let the cost price be x
There Janki sold it for =₹(x - 8% of x)
=₹ 92x/100
=₹ 23x/25
If she had sold it for ₹150 more then the sp would have been= ₹(x + 12% of x)
=₹ 112x/100
=₹ 28x/25
From the condition we get,
28x/25 - 23x/25 = 150
=> 5x/25 = 150
=> x/5 = 150
=> x = 150 × 5
=750
Therefore the c.p is ₹750
Therefore the s.p= ₹ 750 ×(100 - 8)/100
= ₹ 750× 92/100
=₹ 690
Therefore required s.p is ₹690

Let the cost price be x

There Janki sold it for =₹(x - 8% of x)

=₹ 92x/100

=₹ 23x/25

If she had sold it for ₹150 more then the sp would have been= ₹(x + 12% of x)

=₹ 112x/100

=₹ 28x/25

From the condition we get,

28x/25 - 23x/25 = 150

=> x/5 = 150

=> x = 150 × 5

Therefore the c.p is ₹750

Therefore the s.p= ₹ 750 ×(100 - 8)/100

= ₹ 750× 92/100

=₹ 690

Therefore required s.p is ₹690
