1.Scalar quantities have only magnitude but no direction

2.Vector quantities have magnitude as well as direction.

3.If we are sitting in a bus and if we see person sitting inside the bus then we are at rest on the contrary if we see a pole or a tree outsude we infer that we are at motion thus it depends on the reference point which we choose.
