Question -
If CAT = XZG, KITE = PRGV then RUN = ?
1) HFN
2) IFM
3) QYO
4) SVM .
Answer :
Explanation -
Given :
CAT = XZG
KITE = PRGV
Finding how the sequence is formed -
Taking A = 1, B = 2, C = 3, D = 4 .......... Y = 25, Z = 26
CAT = 3, 1, 20.
Taking Z = 1, Y = 2, X = 3, ........... B = 25, A = 26
Now , find 3rd, 1st and 20th letters - XZG.
So, CAT = XZG
Taking A = 1, B = 2, C = 3, D = 4 .......... Y = 25, Z = 26
KITE = 11, 9, 20, 5
Taking Z = 1, Y = 2, X = 3, ........... B = 25, A = 26
Now, find 11th, 9th, 20th, and 5th letters - PRGV
So, KITE = PRGV
Taking A = 1, B = 2, C = 3, D = 4 .......... Y = 25, Z = 26
RUN = 18, 21, 14
Taking Z = 1, Y = 2, X = 3, ........... B = 25, A = 26
Now, find 18th, 21st and 14th letters - IFM
So, RUN = IFM .

The question is if CAT = XZG , KITE = PRGV, then RUN = ?
By alphabetical order we can take A, B , C = 1, 2, 3....and so on.
So we get CAT = 3 1 20
Reversing the alphabets like Z, y, X .....= 1, 2, 3.....and so on..
We get XZG = 3 1 20
Similarly for KITE we get
KITE = 11 9 20 5 and PRGV = 11 9 20 5
Now we can try for RUN in the same way.
RUN = 18 21 14
Reversing the alphabets and counting we get
IFM = 18 21 14
So RUN = IFM
