24 many more marbles did Jason have than Terrence at first.

 Given:

Jason Terrence shared a box of marbles in the ratio of 7:4

Number of Marbles Jason have =7x

Number of Marbles Terrence have =4x

Jason gave half of his share to Terrence

we get, Jason=\frac{7x}{2}

Terrence =4x+\frac{7x}{2}

To find:

Number of marbles did Jason have than Terrence at first.

Step-by-step explanation:

Then Terrence had 32 marbles more than Jason.

from we get,

4x+\frac{7x}{2}=32+\frac{7x}{2}\\\\\frac{8x+7x}{2}=\frac{64+7x}{2}\\\\8x=64\\\\x=8

Substitute x in 7x and 4x

we get, at first Jason and Terrence value

Jason =7\times\ 8=56

Terrence =4\times\ 8=32

To find the difference of marbles Jason and Terrence have,

56-32=24

Hence At first,24 marbles Jason have more than Terrence.
