Given :  Jaspal donates 1/5part of his monthly income

deposited 1/6 part in the  bank

expenditure the remaining income.

To Find : expenditure

Solution:

Assume that Total Income  = 30A

donates 1/5part of his monthly income   = (1/5)30A = 6A

deposited 1/6 part in the  bank   = (1/6)30A = 5A

Donated = 6A

Deposited = 5A

Total = 30A

Remaining = 30A - 6A - 5A

= 19A

Expenditure = 19A

Expenditure compared to total = 19A/30A = 19/30

expenditure = 19/30 th part

or Directly

1 - 1/5 - 1/6

= 30/30 - 6/30 - 5/30

= (30 - 6 - 5)/30

= 19/30

expenditure = 19/30 th part
