Answer :-

  • Number of tiles required is 48 tiles.

Step-by-step explanation :

To Find :-

  • Number of tiles require to cover the floor of room

Solution :-

  • Length of the floor = 3m
  • Breadth of the floor = 4m

Therefore, the area of the Rectangular floor is,

=> Area = ( Length × Breadth )

=> Area = 3m × 4m

=> Area = ( 3*4 ) m²

=> Area = 12

Now, the area of square tile is,

=> Area = ( Side )²

=> Area = ( 0.5 )²

=> Area = ( 0.5 × 0.5 ) m²

=> Area = 0.25m²

According the question,

Number of tiles required, Therefore,

Number of tiles required = Area of the Rectangular floor ÷ Area of 1 tile

=> 12 ÷ 0.25

=> 48

Hence,

  • Number of tiles required is 48 tiles.
