Direct speech

Some Rules :-

→ Inverted commerce are removed in indirect speech.

→ Comma after the reporting verb is also removed.

→ There is no change in the tense form of the reporting verb. If the reporting verb is linked with some object said to is changed into told and similarly says to change into tells .

→ A conjunction that is used to joining reporting verb and reporting speech .

→ Changes intense form , pronounce and words indicating nearness of time and position are also made.
