Answer:

First question answer = ₹ 884

Second Question answer = ₹ 396

I feel there is some typo error in the question.

Step-by-step explanation:

Let Jaya had ₹ x then Pari has ₹ x + 244

x + x + 244 = 1524

=>2x + 244 = 1524

=> 2x = 1280

=> x = 640

Jaya has ₹ 640 and Pari has ₹ 884

Both spent an equal amount then pari has twice the amount with jaya.

Let us assume both spent an amount equal to y.

Amount left with Jaya = 640 - y

Amount left with Pari = 884 - y

884 - y = 2 \times (640 - y)

884 - y = 1280 - 2y

2y - y = 1280 - 884

y = 396
