Correct Question:-

Jaya had rupees 220 in her purse. there are five rupees, 10 rupee, and 2 rupee notes .she had 6 ten rupee notes more than that of the five rupee notes, and she also had five 2 rupee rupees notes and ,how many 5 rupee and 10 rupee notes did she have?

Answer:-

let the no. of 5 rupee notes she had be x

so total amount of 5 rupee notes= 5x

total amount of 10 rupee notes=10(x+6) (since it's given that she had 6 10 rupee notes more than 5 rupee notes)

now, it's given that

there are 5 2 rupee notes so =5X2= 10 rupees

so now, total amount she had =220

removing the amount of two rupee notes = 220-10=210

so the equation formed will be

10(x+6) + 5x=210

10x +60+5x=210

15x=150

x=10 (which is no. of 5 rupee notes)

so no. of ten rupee notes = x+6=10+6=16

ans. there are 10 five rupee notes and 16 ten rupee notes in her bag
