Let jayesh age is x years
Anil's age = x + p (p is not equal to 0)
Prashanth's age = x - p 

Sum of the ages of prashanth and anil = 48

⇒x+p+x-p = 48
⇒ 2x = 48

⇒x = 24

Jayesh Age = 24 years.

difference between J and A = difference between J and  P.    P, J, A are in arithmatic progression.
So      J - A  = P - J 
 2 J = P + A      -  equation 1
Given A + P = 48  so  P = 48 - A                  substitute in the above eq  1
2 J = 48 - A  + A
 J = 24 years
