microorganisms decomposes the waste materials on the earth. it is as a result of the decomposition that the detritus loses weight and gradually disappears completely adding the nutrients to the ecosystem for recycling.
the decomposition process involves several steps and can be categorised as
- fragmentation of detritus
-leaching
-catabolism
all these three process occurs simultaneously on the detritus.
aftrr these 3 processes theey undergoes humification and mineralisation. These all processes maintain the quality of the soil . In the absence of these processes, the whole waste would get accumulated on the surface. Dead bodies of the very first organisms would be still on our earth surface just as the same. In short, in the absence of micro organisms, the life on earth would have been a mess

Yes,its true that if there are no micro organisms the earth will remain
with waste... Because only bacteria or micro organisms can decompose waste... so if there are no microorganisms the waste cant get decomposed.. and the earth will be remained with waste.......
