Starfishes are members of the class Asteroidea. In the seabed, from tropical seas to the arctic or antarctic oceans, about 1,500 species of starfishes are found. They are marine invertebrates with a central disc and five arms.

Jellyfishes are jelly-like, soft-bodied, free-swimming aquatic creatures with a gelatinous umbrella shaped bell and trailing tentacles. These animals are classified under the subphyllum Medusozoa belonging to the phyllum Cnidaria.
