Kelsey has 5/8 feet more rope

Kelsey  has 1 5/8 feet more rope

Solution:

Jen has one rope that is 13 1/8 feet long and another that is 21 3/4 feet long.

Total Jen has = 13 1/8  + 21 3/4

= 13 + 1/8  + 21 + 3/4

= 13 + 21  + 1/8 + 3/4

= 34 +  1/8  + 6/8

= 34 + 7/8
