Jennifer Started trip with the amount $526

Let Jennifer bought $X

She spent amount in 1st city = 25+X/2

Balance amount when departure 1st City = X-(25+X/2) = (X-50)/2

Amount spent in 2nd city = 25+(X-50)/4 = (50+X)/4

Balance amount when departure 2nd City = (X-50)/2-(50+X)/4 = (X-150)/4

Amount spent in 3rd city = 25+(X-150)/8 = (50+X)/8

Balance amount when departure 3rd city = (X-150)/4-(50+X)/8 = (X-350)/8

Balanced amount $22, then

(X-350)/8=22

X-350=176

X=$526
