SOLUTION:

Given, Jenny the florist had 72 roses, 108 gladioli and 48 marigolds to be used to make bouquets.

She has to make identical bouquets having all three varieties of flowers.

We have to find what is the maximum number of identical bouquets that Jenny can make if she uses all the flowers?

Now, after making 48 bouquets which are identical by using all types of flowers in them, all marigolds are used.

So, any bouquet which is made after 48 bouquets will not contain marigold, which means they are not identical to previous ones.

Hence, the maximum number of identical bouquets can be made is 48.
