Jeremy used a calculater to find the product of a mixed number and 2. He pressed 3 instead of 2 and obtained an answer of 56.What should the correct answer be?

Since he multiplied the number with 3 by mistake , if we divide the result by 3 we will get that number back . So that mixed number is (56/3).

Since the correct process is to multiply the mixed number by 2 , we have to do (56/3)*2 = 37.32
