It is given that Jermaine runs 2 laps around the track.

Perimeter of track on which he runs = 400 \ m

Distance is the total length of  path covered while displacement is the changes in the initial and final position.

Here as it is given laps, which means track is circular in shape .

Distance covered in 1 laps = 400 \ m

So total distance covered in 2 laps= 400\times 2= 800 \ m

Displacement will be zero as the initial and the final position is same. So, no positional change happen.
