jhon bought 100 eggs for 40 rupees. out of these, four eggs were found to be broken and ha sold the remaining eggs at the rate of 7.50 rupees per dozen. find his gain or loss per cent .​

so,

12 eggs for 7.50/-

1 eggs for 7.50/12

4 eggs for (7.50/12)*4

. = 2.50

therefore ,Loss = (2.50-1.60)= 0.90 /-

Loss in 40 rupees is 0.90

so , Loss in 100 rupees. (0.90/40)*100

. = 2.25%
