❍ Given :-

➸ Measures of rectangular garden :-

  • Length (long) = 20 m
  • Breadth (wide) = 15 m

❍ To Find :-

  • Total distance jogged by Jigar 5 times

❍ Solution :-

➸ Jigar jogged 5 times around the park, hence will take perimeter of park.

\small \implies \boxed{\mathtt{Perimeter \: of \: rectangle = 2(l + b)}}

\small{\mathtt{→Perimeter \: of \: park = 2(20 + 15)}}

\small{\mathtt{→Perimeter \: of \: park = 2(35)}}

\small{\mathtt{→Perimeter \: of \: park = 70m}}

➸ As Jigar jogged 5 times around the park, we will multiply 5 to the perimeter of the park.

⇝ Total distance = 70m × 5

⇝ Total distance = 350m

Hence, total distance covered by Jigar is 350m.
