Jignesh have to cover a certain distance in a certain duration of time. he travel at 80% of the average speed required for 60% of the time, for the remaining 40% of the time in needed to travel at what % of the average speed required?

to cover a distance d=xt (because x = d/t)

so given-

(80/100)x * (60/100)t = 0.48 d

⇒so remaining distance = d - 0.48 d =0.52d

we also know that remaining time = 40%t =0.4t

then by the equation x=d/t ⇒ 0.52/0.4 ⇒ 1.3 d/t = 1.3x

so the required speed is 1.3x = 130% of x
