When the environment is changed or they are shifted to some other place, the penguins need to be acclimatised to the new environment as their bodies are found to be streamlined in order to drag away the water and their wings are also shaped like flippers to facilitate flying underwater.

Hence, when penguins are kept away from their natural habitat in scanty water, they are unable to exhibit their natural behaviour and needs to adapt to the changes.
