HEY DEAR ... ✌️

The total amount that Jillian will collect from selling the x 10 oz. boxes for $3.50 is equal to 3.5x. That from selling y 16 oz. boxes is 5y. The system of linear equation is,
                                        x + y = 24
                                   3.5x + 5y = 97.50
Solving simultaneously for the value of x and y gives an answer of x = 15 and y = 9. Thus, Jillian sold 15 10-oz boxes. The answer is letter D.
