Step-by-step explanation:

Jim received = 1 × 4750/ 5

= 950

again this money was shared among him , his wife and son in the ratio 2:6:2

therefore

he got = 2×950/10

= 190

his wife got = 6 × 950/10

= 570

his son got = 2×950/10

= 190

hence wife got (570 - 190) more than their son

hence wife got 380 more than their son
