1. Ostrich egg
2. Xylem and ploem cell
3.cell is a structural and functional unit of an organism.
4. Matthias Jakob Schleiden
5.methylene blue solution
6. The cell was first discovered and named by Robert Hooke in 1665. He remarked that it looked strangely similar to cellula or small rooms which monks inhabited, thus deriving the name. However what Hooke actually saw was the dead cell walls of plant cells (cork) as it appeared under the microscope. Hooke’s description of these cells was published in Micrographia. The cell walls observed by Hooke gave no indication of the nucleus and other organelles found in most living cells.
7.cell is a functional unit of life it Helps in releasing of energy nd helps in proper functioning of body. it helps in repair and worn-out of tissues so by this we can cells keep a organism alive nd healthy.
8. Plant cell. Xylem cells
9.cell . Robert Hooke in 1665
10. Unicellular are single celled organisms whereas multicellular have many cells.
11.contraction of the protoplast of a plant cell as a result of loss of water from the cell.
12. Ribosomes are the cell organelles which are responsible for the protein synthesis in the cell. These are synthesised in the cell cytoplasm and nucleolus present in the nucleus of the cell. This happens with process of biogenesis.
13. The cell membrane is selectively permeable, meaning it only lets certain things in and out.
14. DNA is the hereditary material found in the nucleus of eukaryotic cells (animal and plant).
15. Diffusion is a spontaneous movement of particles from an area of high concentration to an area of low concentration. ... Osmosis is the spontaneous net movement of water across a semipermeable membrane from a region of low solute concentration to a more concentrated solution, up a concentration gradient.
16. If the plasma membrane ruptures or breakdown then the cell will not be able to exchange material from its surrounding by diffusion or osmosis. Thereafter the protoplasmic material will be disappeared and the cell will die.
17. Chloroplasts
18. Endoplasmic Reticulum
19. Lysosomes are cellular organelles that contain digestive enzymes that break down waste materials, foreign material and cellular debris. Lysosomes are capable of digesting nucleic acid, polysaccharides, fats, and proteins. Along with them lysosomes also digest or damage its own cells by its own enzymes, which lead to cell death. This process is called as autolysis. Hence lysosomes are also called as suicide bags
20. a thread-like structure of nucleic acids and protein found in the nucleus of most living cells, carrying genetic information in the form of genes.
