Jiya is 2 more than 4 times her daughter age is in 10 years her age will be three times her daughter age find the their present age

Let daughter's age be x Then jiya = 4x + 2  After 10 yrs.  Daughter = x+10 Jiya= 4x + 12 = 3(x + 10)  4x + 12 = 3x + 30 x = 30 - 12    = 18 yrs.  And jiya age is 4x +2 = 4×18 +2= 72 yrs. Isn't Jiya too old
