Sol1) Length of red ribbon= 5⅕m
Length of green ribbon=2½m
Total length = (5⅕+2½)m
=( 26/5+ 5/2) m
Take the Lcm of 5 and 2
LCM= 10
26×2/5×2 = 52/10 , 5×5/5×2=25/10
52+25/10 = 77/10
77÷10 = 7 (Quotient ) & 7 (Remainder)
= 7×7/10
Sol2) To divide 735 and 1155 exactly leaving no remainder ,we will take the HCF of 735 and 1155.

105 is the HCF.
So. 105 is that largest no.
