Jo started fussing thinking that the story had come to an end. But her attention is dragged back by jack. Why do you think he does so(should wizard hit mommy)?

Jo started thinking that the story had come to an end because she thought that Roger Skunk had got a good rose smell and he was very happy because everyone loved his rose smell,,,,
But her attention was dragged by her father Jack because the story was not end there,,
At night when RogerSkunk happily went to home his mother was not happy with his smell..
this means again a problem had been came to Roger Skunk....
