Jody is a younger 10 year old boy who is very interested in the work of the farm and the work of his father. He is the protagonists of the story and the only son of carl tiflin. he was many fears and dreams like most young boys. his physical appearance can say many things about him. he has hair like dustly yellow grass and with grey eyes. Jody every morning wakes up by the triangle which he never dares to disobey to start chores , eat Breakfast and prepare for school. he is very obedient and does his chores diligent.
