Answer:

10 km

Explanation:

Given:

  • Speed = 5km/hr

  • Time = 2 hours.

To Find:

  • Distance = ?

Procedure:

We know,

Speed × Time = Distance

>> 5km/hr × 2 hour = 10 km

So , John travelled 10km.

What you need to know ?

  • Odometer is a device used to measure the distance traveled by vehicle.

  • Distance is directly proportional to time².

  • If a body travels unequal distance in equal interval of time then it is aid to be non uniform motion.

  • If a body travels equal distance in equal interval of time then it is aid to be in uniform motion.

  • Instataneous speed is the speed in particular instance of time.

We have,

Speed of John in his cycle = 5 kmph

Time taken = 2 h

We know, s = vt

∴ s = (5 km/h)(2 h) = 10 km (answer).
