John goes to school from his home at a speed of 4 km/h. If he walks at a speed of 5 km/h,
hen he reaches the school 7 minutes early. Find the distance between the school and the
home.​

Answer: let time T be the time when he reaches at time and D be distance of school from home

∴ T = D / 4   ........................(1)

When he walks at 5 km/h , he reaches 7 min early

T - 7/60 = D/5 ...................(2)

Subtracting (2) from (1) and solving further we get

D = 7/3 KM
