John has learnt in geometry that sum of the three angles of a triangle is always 180° but he could
not solve this problem in his geometry lesson. If one angle of a triangle is 21° more than the
second angle and the third angle is 17° less than twice the second angle, find each angle. Help
John by solving the problem.

Answer:

first angle = x + 21

second angle = x

third angle = 2x - 17

/ 1 + / 2 + / 3 = 180°

x +21 + x + 2x - 17 = 180°

4x - 4 = 180°

x = 184 ÷ 4

x = 46
