John was a young writer who has great specialization in the genre of the ghost stories.
He was a nice and lovable person as when Helen (ghost) claimed, which she had been offering his some ideas for his ghost stories.
Even though he did not believe her, he also felt sad for her.
Soon, he got ready to assist her by asking his friends to exhortation with the help of Ouija boards.
Once Lavinia bought the board, he asked her to return the board but she did not listen.
He also loved his wife to the core so that when she suspected him of having affair with other girl, he attempted to convince her wife not to leave him.
This was after only seeing Helen, which Lavinia believed him.
