Given:-

John recieved - 2 dozen mangoes

Rotten Mangoes - 6 mangoes

Need To Know:-

1 Dozen = 12

2 dozen mangoes = ( 2 × 12 ) mangoes ⇔ 24 mangoes

To Find:-

Fraction of Good mangoes

Explanation:-

Good mangoes = 2 dozen mangoes - 6 mangoes

                          = 24 mangoes - 6 mangoes

                          = 18 mangoes

The Fraction of Good Mangoes = \frac{Good Mangoes}{Total Mangoes}

\frac{18 ..mangoes}{2 .dozen. mangoes}

⇒ ( \frac{18}{24} ) mangoes

\frac{3}{4}

\frac{3}{4} th of the total mangoes were good
