as we know work done = force*displacement*cos¢
In first case :- the angle bt force and displacement is zero
so work done = F*d
in 2 case the angle bt f and d is 30°
so work done = f*d √3/2
which is less than f*d
thats why pulling at 30° is easier than pulling parallel
