Answer:

Given That;

Radius (R) = 7cm

Height (H) = 27cm

By Pythagoras Theorem

L^2 = R^2 + H^2

=> L = √(7^2 + 27^2)

=> L = 27.89 cm

C.S.A Of Cone = πRL

= π*7*27.89

= 613.33 cm^2

Area Of Paper Required For Making 10 Caps will be 61333 cm^2.

Given :

A joker’s cap is in the form of a right circular cone of base radius 7 cm and its slant height is 20 cm.

To find :

Find the area of the sheet required to make 10 such caps

Steps :

Radius of cone (r) = 7cm

Slant height of cone (l) = 20cm

Area of cone = ?

Area of sheet required to make caps = curved surface area of caps

➳ Curved surface area of cone

➳ πrl

➳ 22/7 × 7 × 20

➳ 3080/7

➳ 440 cm²

Area of 10 caps = 440 × 10 = 4400cm²
