Jose and William are running on a circular track. Jose is running on the outer
edge of the track and covers a distance of 695.2 meters in one round. William is running on the inner edge of the track and covers a distance of 580.8 meters in one round
Find the width of the track. (Assume n = 22/7)

Jose is running on the outer track and cover a distance of 695.2 m in one round, it means outer circumference of track is 695.2 m

similarly the inner circumference of track is

580.8 m

Let outer radius of circular track be r_{1} and inner radius be r_{2}

★According to the question,

                 2\pi r_{1} = 695.2 m

                     r_{1} = 110.6 m

                 2\pi r_{2} = 580.8 m

                     r_{2} = 92.4 m

width of track = r_{1} - r_{2}

                       = 110.6-92.4 m

                       = 18.2 m

★According to the question,

2\pi r_{1} = 695.22πr

=695.2 m

r_{1} =r

= 110.6110.6 m

2\pi r_{2} =2πr

= 580.8580.8 m

r_{2} =r

= 92.492.4 m

width of track = r_{1} - r_{2}r
