Solution :-

Let us assume that, joseph donate Rs. x to a Relief Fund.

so,

→ Amount donated by Peter = Rs. (x + 125)

A/q,

→ x + (x + 125) = 975

→ 2x + 125 = 975

→ 2x = 975 - 125

→ 2x = 850

→ x = Rs. 425 (Ans.)

therefore, the amount of money donated by Joseph is Rs. 425 .
