Geography, asked by anuslatia, 5 months ago

Joseph is a farmer who owns a large plot of land. Every year he prepares his field and saws seeds. He uses fertilizers and pesticides to get best yield. Every year he burns the crop residue. After each year his land becomes rocky and difficult to hoe. Deep furrows ran down the hillside making small rivers when it rains. His crops suffer and produce little. He complaints about the wind, rain and the sun.

What is the problem with Joseph’s land? Why is he not able to produce more even after taking some efforts?
