straight 300 m road in 2 minutes 50 seconds and
then turns around and jogs 100 m back to point C
in another 1 minute. What are Joseph's average

Answer:

a) 300/170 =30/17 m/s

b) 200/230 = 20/23 m/s

Explanation:

In first he covers 300metre and time is 2min 50 sec which converted in second which equal to 170 sec.

In second he covers 300metre then 100 metre back thats why it is 200 metre  and time he covers 2 min 50 sec + 1 min = 230 second.
