According to the question ,
Total distance travelled from A to C = 300m + 100m = 400m
Total time taken from A to reach C   = 2 mins + 30 secs + 30 secs + 1 min = 240 secs
Average speed = Total distance travelled / Total time taken
                           = 400m / 240secs
                           =  1.4 m/secs
Average velocity = Total displacement / Total time taken
                             = 200m / 240 secs
                             = 0.83 m/secs
