Josh is assigned a project in class to make a strand of m-RNA from DNA.The DNA code that he has been assigned is CGG TCG AGT GAT. What would be the correct code for Josh to use in his transcription?

Transcription is referred as the process through which genetic information can be copied from the DNA (deoxyribo nucleic acid) into the mRNA (i.e. messenger RNA) by the enzyme named RNA polymerase.

By this process, any strand of the DNA can be used as the template for mRNA synthesis. In this case, complementary sequences must be added in mRNA by RNA polymerase in following manner- For A (adenine), U (Uracil) must be added in the mRNA, for G ( guanine), C ( cytosine) must be added and for T ( thymine), A ( adenine) must be added.
