Joshua's Subaru Forrester was detected exceeding the posted speed limit of 60 kilometers per hour, how many kilometers per hour would he have been traveling over the limit if he had covered the a distance of 10 kilometers in 0.1 hours? (hint: find the speed and subtract the posted speed limit from it)
km/h

If you want to express this value as a velocity, what other information would you·need to provide? (one word answer)

Answer:

i)40 km/hr

ii) Direction

Explanation:

i)Given - Speed limit = 60km/h

Distance covered = 10km

Time = 0.1 hr

Her speed = 10/0.1 = 100  km/hr

So she was traveling at speed of = 100 - 60 =  40 km/hr

ii) Direction

As speed and velocity has only one difference of not having direction (scaler) and having direction(vector)
