Answer :

Golden rules of Journal

Personal account rule

Debit- the receiver.

Credit- the giver.

Real account rule

Debit- what comes in.

Credit- what goes out.

Nominal account rule.

Debit- all expenses and losses.

Credit- all incomes and gains.

Now

The journal entry will be

Cash A/C    DR   ₹ 10,000

   To Sales A/C                ₹ 10,000

(Being cash sales for ₹ 10,000)

Explanation

According to  the golden rule of real account, Cash A/C should be debited as cash is coming in the business.

Here sale is income for business Since it is nominal account , Sales A/C should be credited.
