Dear Diary,
I was woken up by a friend's phone call in the middle of the night. He had called me only to tell that he was stuck in a resort! At first, I thought he had called me to wish me for my birthday, but his tone was serious. I was clueless as to how I was going to react, I was partly happy that I was going to a resort, but some part of me felt this was a very well planned prank. You see, my birthday is on the first of April and that day was today.
I knew I had to go and so I did. I got ready and booked a cab. The journey to save my friend took me 5 hours and I was followed by a suspicious looking black car, although to be honest, I ignored it.
On reaching the resort, All my friends threw me into the pool and strted singing me a happy birthday! They even bought me birthday and plenty backup clothes, which invited me to think of the fact that I was going to get pranked at some point, and unfortunately, I was right. The black car was to ensure my security which made me feel like a VIP. Still that was the best birthday I have ever had.
