Heya,
1.If the received cheque was deposited into bank the next date(or on any other date except the date when it was received)then the following entries will take place:
On the date the cheque was received : Cheque in hand a/c Dr.
to Debtor's a/c
On the date it got deposited:
Bank a/c Dr.
to Cheque in hand a/c
2.If the received cheque was deposited into the bank the same date, then the following entries will take place :
Bank a/ c Dr.
to Debtor's a/c
---------........------.......----------............--------
Now,the entry for the cheque dishonoured will be the same for both the cases;
Debtor's a / c Dr.
to bank a/c
Hope this helps. . . . if it really helped, then please mark it as the BRAINLIEST and please say a thanks.
Thanks.
